Fall/Winter 2020 Menswear
Nanushka’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection explores the simplicity of monastic aesthetics. Inspired by the design cues and codes characteristic of nomadic east Asian heritage, the season is defined by soft tailoring, new proportions and innovative fabric choices in deep, rich tones.
The importance of texture and color remains at the heart of the collection. A new approach to cold-weather style is manifested in melange wool, recycled bottle, pilled wool and recycled cashmere knits, imagined in pops of lime, wax yellow and creme that accentuate more restrained mahogany, custard and brown hues.
Suiting is soft and relaxed, creating an elegant yet easy feel. Double-breasted blazers and wide-leg trousers come in vintage check, creme patchwork, and houndstooth motifs, while classic Oxford shirts are reimagined in warm navy and espresso tones. New-season amphora and rose check patterns similarly elevate traditional tailored silhouettes with a sense of informal elegance.
Elongated silhouettes are key for outerwear - from padded vegan leather coats in rootbeer and bottle-green shades, to trench coats made from an array of double wool and silk and wool felt.
From recycled wool to FSC-certified fabrics, Fall/Winter 2020 also demonstrates our ongoing commitment to sustainability.
The overall effect is a compellingly modern wardrobe for the bohemian minimalist, a free-spirited nomad who values refined practicality and functionality.
