Pre-Fall 2020 Womenswear
Nanushka’s Pre-Fall 2020 collection is inspired by the simplicity of monastic style infused with the attitude of 90’s grunge - think soft tailoring, sumptuous layers and hand-crafted details. The focus remains on a confident ease and subtle femininity, now reimagined with strong-shouldered and elongated, column silhouettes.
The collection pushes Nanushka’s signature fabrics further. Vegan leather is used to create everything from substantial shirt jackets to fluid pleated skirts. A patchwork of upcycled vegan leather can be seen on straight-leg pants, mini skirts and the iconic Hide puffer jacket. Lightweight linen and cotton blends add fluidity to oversized button-ups and ankle-grazing dresses.
A color pallet of rich earthy tones is contrasted with hints of yellow, mint and aubergine throughout - encapsulating a collection that offers a minimalist day-to-night wardrobe for the modern bohemian.
