'Paper'

The Spring/Summer 2025 collection marks the brand’s 20th anniversary, drawing inspiration from Founder and Creative Director Sandra Sándor’s past years designing, building and evolving Nanushka.

“Reflecting on the past 20 years of Nanushka has been a very emotional process for myself and the entire Nanushka team. It was evident that the focus of this collection is to celebrate the design processes that make Nanushka, Nanushka. It was imperative to highlight the human touch process of design, and all the integral brand stories that we’ve put into this celebratory collection.”

          In the Atelier

Through a deep fascination of creative manipulation and handicraft, paper is translated into fabric, highlighted with new poplin fringe. With the continued use of excess material, pleated poplin is upcycled through slicing, fringing and layering; creating a new lifecycle for each garment. This technique is featured across the collection utilizing the core balance of Nanushka’s design capabilities. Gathered from various art history and design books, physical papers have been the central reference for the season, signifying going back to the basics of research, and physically turning the page to inspire the future.
